Heitor Almeida is a Professor of Finance and the Stanley C. and Joan J. Golder Distinguished Chair in Corporate Finance at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). Almeida holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago, along with master's and bachelor's degrees from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and the Federal University of Minas Gerais, respectively.
