International Education Leader and Cross-Cultural Learning Expert

Adam Henry serves as an innovative leader in international higher education, currently working as Associate Director of Engineering Outreach and Recruitment at Arizona State University's Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering since 2022. His career at ASU includes significant roles as Executive Director of Student Success at Thunderbird School of Global Management (2019-2022) and Director of the ASU Global Education Office, where he advanced the university's study abroad vision and implementation. His academic credentials include an Ed.D. in Leadership and Innovation from ASU, an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University, and a B.A. in International Studies from Grand Canyon University. His expertise spans cross-cultural training, organizational leadership, and international education, supported by extensive international experience including three years living in Chengdu, China, and travel to over 30 countries. His scholarly contributions include his doctoral dissertation on pre-international experience course development and publications on innovation in education abroad, particularly focusing on expanding access through online learning. Beyond his administrative roles, he has served as a subject matter expert for the U.S. State Department's massive open online course on study abroad and continues to teach courses on diversity and organizations at ASU.

Jennifer Malerich, Ph.D., currently serves as Assistant Vice Provost for Academic and Global Engagement at Arizona State University, advancing from her previous role as Executive Director. With over 20 years of experience in international education, she brings comprehensive expertise in weaving together academics and global learning to enhance student success. Her academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Internationalization of Higher Education from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (with distinction), an MS in Global & International Education from Drexel University, and a BA in International Studies from the University of Arizona. At ASU, she leads initiatives for over 140,000 students, focusing on developing strategies that combine student experiences and partnerships with data-driven approaches to advance student success, academic development, global learning, and career readiness. Her work encompasses curriculum integration, study abroad program development, and the implementation of innovative advising technologies. Prior to her current role, she gained valuable experience in program development and operations with a major study abroad provider, contributing to her comprehensive understanding of international education
