A Global Health and Public Policy Expert

The University of QueenslandSarah Glavey has established herself as a leading expert in global health research management and public service transformation. Currently serving as Head of Public Service Transformation Policy, she previously managed significant global health initiatives at Trinity College Dublin, including the NOURISH project, a multidisciplinary research consortium investigating the relationships between nutrition, food security, and HIV treatment outcomes in Uganda. Her academic credentials include a Master's in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School of Government and an MSc in Occupational Psychology from the University of Sheffield. Her work spans research capacity building in Africa, public service delivery improvement, and organizational development consulting. Through her role with Konu and collaboration with organizations like the World Bank's Global Delivery Initiative, she has contributed to strengthening public sector effectiveness and adaptive leadership. Her research contributions include significant work on research capacity building in Africa, particularly focusing on doctoral training programs and development initiatives. As part of the NOURISH project team, she helped implement innovative interventions for improving the lives of women living with HIV in Uganda, demonstrating her commitment to evidence-based approaches in global health and development.
