Sam Roots

Sam Roots serves as a freelance designer and engineer, combining expertise from his Masters degrees at Oxford University, Imperial College, and the Royal College of Art. After transitioning from his role as a business analyst and science tutor, he taught himself Arduino programming and developed expertise in human-computer interaction. His work focuses on creating interactive prototypes and large-scale installations that explore the relationship between technology and users. His project "Treasure" exemplifies his approach to inclusive design, incorporating research with people affected by depression and anxiety to develop solutions that support rather than exploit users
