About Me
Rasmus Nielsen has a background in physics and nanotechnology, with a specialization in photovoltaics. He studied at the Technical University of Denmark and Fraunhofer ISE, and he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at DTU Physics. His research focuses on synthesizing new, abundant, and non-toxic materials that can be integrated with silicon solar cells in monolithic tandem configurations. The goal of his work is to significantly increase the power conversion efficiencies of solar cells beyond what is possible with single-junction designs.
