Institut Mines-TelecomDr. Manolis Romanias serves as an Assistant Professor at the Center for Energy and Environment at IMT Nord Europe, where he has been contributing since August 2015. After completing his PhD from the University of Crete and spending four years as a post-doctoral researcher at CNRS-ICARE in Orleans, he has established himself as an expert in atmospheric chemistry and environmental science. His research portfolio spans multiple disciplines, including atmospheric photochemistry, chemical kinetics, and catalysis for air treatment. His significant work includes groundbreaking studies on water adsorption onto mineral dust particles, heterogeneous interactions between atmospheric compounds and natural dust, and ozone uptake by clay dusts under environmental conditions
