Pioneering Innovations in Biomedical Ultrasound Imaging and Engineering
Manish Bhatt is an accomplished biomedical engineering researcher and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. With a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, his research focuses on the engineering aspects of ultrasound imaging for the diagnosis of liver fibrosis, breast cancer, deep vein thrombosis, and more. He has a diverse professional background, including roles as an Assistant Professor at BITS Pilani, a Shell Postdoctoral Fellow at IISc, and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Johns Hopkins University and the Centre de Recherche du CHUM. With over 14 publications and a range of technical skills in biomedical imaging and elastography, his work reflects a strong commitment to innovation in medical imaging technologies.
