Larissa Raphael

Larissa Raphael serves as the Associate Educator of School and Teacher Programs at The Museum of Modern Art, where she manages the school visit program and oversees MoMA's vital school partnerships. Her academic background combines a Master of Science in Education in Museum Education from Bank Street College of Education with a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from New York University, providing a strong foundation for her work in art education. Before joining MoMA, she gained valuable experience working with school and family audiences at several prestigious institutions, including the Rubin Museum of Art, the Ukrainian Museum, and the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. Beyond her role as an educator, Raphael is an accomplished fiber artist whose practice is deeply influenced by her Ukrainian heritage, incorporating traditional techniques and natural materials to create contemporary works.
