Kevin Alquicira Hernandez

Kevin Alquicira Hernandez is an Academic Technician at the Institute of Renewable Energy (IER) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He earned his undergraduate degree in Informatics from the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos and a Master's in Information Technologies from the Universidad Politécnica del Estado de Morelos. From 2009 to 2019, he worked as a software developer at UNAM's Center for Genomic Sciences, where he developed software to study the Escherichia coli (E. coli) bacterium. Currently, his work involves high-performance computing administration, technical support for computer networks and systems, and software development and maintenance. He also supports research by creating Python programs and teaches Python as a secondary instructor in the Renewable Energy Engineering program (LIER) at UNAM.
