Karin Beukel is an Assistant Professor at the University of Copenhagen in the Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Management. She earned her PhD in Economics and Management from Copenhagen Business School in 2013 and has since held a visiting assistant professor position at Harvard Business School. Her research focuses on intellectual property (IP) strategy and management, particularly its connection to innovation. In addition to her academic role, Karin has extensive experience as an IP management consultant for multinational corporations and small enterprises, as well as being an entrepreneur herself, having co-founded several companies. She has taught IP for over a decade and is a sought-after speaker at global corporate IP events. At the University of Copenhagen, she teaches courses on IP, entrepreneurship, and innovation at both the master's and PhD levels, while also supervising graduate students.
