Distinguished Sales Management and Entrepreneurship Expert
Jim Hamilton is a Distinguished Faculty Fellow of Sales Management at Smith School of Business, Queen's University, bringing over two decades of executive experience in sales, marketing, and entrepreneurship to academia. After earning his MBA from Richard Ivey School of Business (1995) and BSc in Actuarial Science from the University of Western Ontario (1990), he has built an impressive career spanning both corporate leadership and entrepreneurial ventures. As an educator, he teaches marketing strategy and sales management courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels, while maintaining an active advisory practice serving major corporations including Bayer, Altana, IBM, and MDS Sciex. His entrepreneurial experience includes founding, mentoring, and investing in numerous startups over the past 20 years. His expertise in sales strategy, CRM, and reputation management has made him a valued consultant to organizations of all sizes, while his academic contributions have earned him recognition including the Distinguished Faculty Fellow of Sales Management award in 2017
