Hind Castel

Hind Castel serves as Professor at Telecom SudParis and researcher in the METHODES team of the SAMOVAR laboratory, where she specializes in performance evaluation of computer networks and stochastic modeling. Her research focuses on queueing theory, Markov chain analysis, and network performance evaluation, with particular emphasis on energy packet networks and service time distribution analysis. As a member of SAMOVAR, which conducts research in distributed services, architectures, modeling, and network administration, she contributes to advancing understanding of network performance through mathematical modeling. Her work includes supervising doctoral research in areas such as cloud computing resource allocation and dynamic systems optimization, while maintaining active collaboration with industry partners to apply theoretical frameworks to practical network challenges.
