Dr. Heather Gordon, EdD, MSW, RSW, PMP, serves as the Wellness Manager for the University Health Network (UHN) and is also an Adjunct Professor at Yeshiva University. With a focus on supporting the emotional well-being of UHN staff, Dr. Gordon addresses health from three dimensions: mind, body, and spirit. Since the onset of the pandemic, she has played a pivotal role as the Staff Support Lead for Emergency Response, collaborating with various stakeholders to meet the wellness needs of healthcare professionals. Her commitment to adapting strategies to evolving challenges ensures that staff receive the support necessary to thrive in a demanding environment.Dr. Gordon teaches the course "Mental Health and Resilience for Healthcare Workers" on Coursera, where she shares valuable insights and techniques for building resilience among healthcare professionals. This course is designed to equip participants with tools to manage stress and enhance their mental health, particularly in high-pressure settings. Through her work in wellness management and education, Dr. Gordon is dedicated to fostering a healthier workplace culture within healthcare settings.
