Finn Valentin

Finn Valentin is a professor at Copenhagen Business School, where he leads the Research Centre on Biotech Business. He also directs the MSc programs in Innovation in Healthcare and BioBusiness and Innovation. His research focuses on innovation in science-based firms, particularly in biotech and healthcare. His publications in international journals explore topics like intellectual property rights (IPR), venture capital, academic entrepreneurship, and innovation systems. His work is funded by various research councils and the EU. Finn has been a Fulbright Scholar at Harvard and a Research Fellow at the European University Institute. He has held leadership roles at both Copenhagen University and CBS, and served on numerous advisory committees and boards, including those for the Danish Building Research Institute, Risø National Laboratory, and the EU.
