EdxEstelle M. Morin, a Full Professor in the Department of Management at HEC Montréal since 1998, holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Montreal (1990). She has dedicated her career to promoting mental health at work, employee engagement, and organizational performance. Morin's research focuses on workplace mental health, the meaning of work, and organizational effectiveness. Her model for measuring organizational effectiveness has been adopted by municipal administrators as performance indicators. In 2004, she founded CRITEOS, an international research center, collaborating with colleagues from various countries. Currently, Morin is investing her efforts in studying emotions and emotional intelligence at work. She has supervised numerous graduate students, authored many publications, and received recognition for her teaching and research. As a member of the Consortium for Research on Emotional Intelligence in Organizations (CREIO), Morin continues to shape the field of organizational behavior. Her work bridges academic research with practical applications, significantly contributing to our understanding of how work organization affects employee well-being and organizational performance.
