Elaine Wightman

Dr. Elaine Wightman is a Senior Research Fellow at the Julius Kruttschnitt Mineral Research Centre (JKMRC) at The University of Queensland, where she has established herself as a leading expert in process mineralogy. Her research focuses on understanding how physical characteristics of particles influence their behavior during mineral processing. As the manager of JKMRC's mineral characterization facility, she oversees sophisticated analytical equipment including MLA600 and MLA650 scanning electron microscopes and the Xradia Versa500M X-ray micro tomography system.
