Bryce Pilcher

Bryce Pilcher currently serves as Lead Data Engineer at Elder Research, Inc., where he has progressed through multiple roles since joining the company. After completing both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, he has built an impressive career spanning software engineering and data architecture. His journey at Elder Research began as a Software Engineering Associate in 2013, where he led the development of dynamic visualization tools using JavaScript library D3, before advancing to Software Engineer, Senior Data Engineer, and ultimately to his current leadership position in April 2023. Throughout his career, Pilcher has demonstrated expertise in diverse technologies, including React with Redux, Firebase, AWS infrastructure, and Graph DB systems. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found Jobii, where he served as Founding Partner responsible for Technology and Software Development from 2018 to 2022. His technical prowess extends across network simulation, software reliability, and client tool design, particularly leveraging graphs and Java to create innovative data interaction interfaces. Pilcher's commitment to continuous learning has driven him to expand his expertise into Python web scraping and Scala development for functional and reliable software solutions, making him a valuable leader in Elder Research's software engineering and development team.
