Auður Stefánsdóttir

Auður Birna Stefánsdóttir is a multifaceted professional serving as a Program Manager at Höfði Reykjavík Peace Centre and an Expert at the Institute of International Affairs at the University of Iceland. With a background in Anthropology and International Relations, she has been instrumental in coordinating diverse projects since joining the Institute in 2016. Her work encompasses research on refugee integration, development of edX courses on intercultural competency and small state leadership, and management of the Arms Control Negotiation Academy (ACONA) and the Imagine Forum Peace Conference. Auður's expertise extends to teaching at the University of Iceland, where she has conducted courses on Iceland's international affairs and negotiation strategies. Her professional journey includes prior experience as a project manager at the Icelandic Human Rights Center and roles within Norwegian and Swedish social welfare agencies.
