A Distinguished Scholar in Organizational Wisdom and Knowledge Management
Ali Intezari currently serves as a Senior Lecturer at UQ Business School, The University of Queensland, where he has established himself as a leading expert in organizational wisdom theory and knowledge management. His research spans multiple areas including decision-making, human-technology interaction, and business in the Middle East. After completing his PhD from Massey University, where he conducted pioneering empirical research on wisdom in management, he has made significant contributions to understanding organizational knowledge culture and strategic decision-making. His work has garnered over 1,400 citations and includes co-authoring "Wisdom, Analytics and Wicked Problems: Integral decision-making in and beyond the information" and co-editing "Practical Wisdom in the Age of Technology." His recent research focuses on executive wisdom, AI-powered human resource management, and sustainability through indigenous wisdom frameworks. Beyond his academic publications in prestigious journals like the Journal of Business Ethics and Decision Sciences, he has shared his expertise through business magazines such as Leader to Leader and the New Zealand Board of Directors Magazine.
