Dr. Ana Gimeno-Sanz serves as Full Professor in English at the Department of Applied Linguistics, Universitat Politècnica de València, where she leads the CAMILLE Research Group focused on Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL). Her extensive expertise spans multiple areas including English for Specific Purposes (ESP), Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), and e-learning environments. Her leadership in the field is evidenced by her roles as former President of EUROCALL (European Association for Computer-Assisted Language Learning) and current President of WorldCALL. Her research contributions include pioneering work in digital storytelling, online courseware design, and language learning technologies, with over 1,000 academic citations. As head of the CAMILLE Research Group, she has developed innovative approaches to language learning, including the InGenio authoring system.
