John Oesch serves as an Associate Professor in the Teaching Stream at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, where he has established himself as an expert in organizational behavior and decision-making. His academic credentials include a PhD from Northwestern University, along with multiple degrees from prestigious institutions including an MSc from the University of British Columbia and several degrees from the University of Western Ontario (MBA, MEd, BEd, and BSc). As a pioneering educator, he developed one of Canada's first MBA courses on emotional intelligence for managers, focusing on understanding and regulating emotions in the workplace. His teaching portfolio spans MBA and Executive MBA programs, where he specializes in decision-making, negotiation, organizational justice, and change leadership.
