PayTech Innovation and Future Payments

Andreas Park is a prominent Professor of Finance at the University of Toronto, where he has served since 2003, progressing from Assistant Professor to Full Professor in 2021. As Research Director at Rotman's Financial Innovation Lab (FinHub) and co-founder of the University of Toronto's LedgerHub blockchain research lab, he has established himself as a leading expert in financial technology innovation. His academic journey includes a PhD in Economics from the University of Cambridge, an MPhil from Cambridge, and a Diplom in Mathematical Economics from Bielefeld University. Park's research spans both theoretical and empirical domains, focusing on financial market structure, blockchain technology, and crypto-finance.
