Dr. Rebecca Quintana is Director of Blended and Online Learning Design at the Center for Academic Innovation and Adjunct Lecturer at the Marsal Family School of Education at the University of Michigan. Dr. Quintana provides direction for end-to-end design approaches for blended and online learning at the University of Michigan. In this role, she advances frameworks, processes, infrastructure, and research to support the design and iteration of outstanding online learning experiences. Dr. Quintana also provides leadership for the Learning Experience Design Certificate Program, a joint collaboration between the Marsal Family School of Education and the Center for Academic Innovation, where she oversees students who are engaged in a two-semester residency program.

Dr. Chris Quintana is an Associate Professor at the Marsal Family School of Education at the University of Michigan. His interdisciplinary work lies at the intersection of learning sciences, human-computer interaction, and computer science. Dr. Quintana focuses on learner-centered design processes to create innovative educational technologies that enhance learning experiences. He specializes in developing software-based scaffolding to help learners adopt and master new practices.
