Dr. Ankit Singla is a distinguished computer scientist who previously served as an Assistant Professor at ETH Zürich's Department of Computer Science after completing his PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2015. His research focuses on data center networks, routing protocols, Internet architecture, and low-latency networking. A recipient of the prestigious Google PhD Fellowship in 2012, he has made significant contributions to the field, with his work "Jellyfish: Networking Data Centers Randomly" receiving over 745 citations. His research has pioneered new approaches to network topology design and data center architecture, with particular emphasis on optical switching architectures and high-speed networking. After his tenure at ETH Zürich, he transitioned to Google in 2022 to continue his work on advanced networking technologies. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from IIT Bombay, and his research continues to influence the development of next-generation network architectures and protocols.

P. Brighten Godfrey is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, in May 2009, and holds a B.S. from Carnegie Mellon University, obtained in 2002. His research focuses on the design of networked systems and algorithms, with significant contributions to cloud computing and networking.Dr. Godfrey has received numerous accolades for his work, including the Sloan Research Fellowship in 2014 and the National Science Foundation CAREER Award in 2012. He also received an Internet2 Innovative Application Award in 2013 and has been recognized with multiple paper awards from prestigious societies such as the IEEE Communications Society and ACM HotSDN.
