Saul Nurick serves as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Construction Economics and Management at the University of Cape Town, where he has established himself as a leading expert in sustainable building practices and property finance since 2012. His recent publications examine the relationship between indoor environmental quality and individual productivity in green-certified buildings, while his earlier work investigated mechanisms driving organizations to implement green building features. As a chartered surveyor and member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), he brings valuable industry experience from his work with a listed property company in Johannesburg and project management consultancy in the UAE. His teaching portfolio includes financial mathematics, property feasibility analysis, valuation, and property finance, while maintaining active research through the Urban Real Estate Research Unit (URERU).
