Este curso se centra en el enfoque cualitativo de la evaluación educativa, ofreciendo a los docentes herramientas para evaluar no solo conocimientos sino también habilidades, actitudes y valores en la educación superior. A través de tres módulos, los participantes exploran diversos instrumentos de evaluación cualitativa utilizados frecuentemente en áreas sociales y de la salud. El curso aborda detalladamente la exposición, examen oral, ensayo, estudio de caso, Examen Clínico Objetivo Estructurado (ECOE), portafolio y simulación, analizando sus características, diseño, aplicación y el uso efectivo de sus resultados. Los docentes aprenderán a implementar sistemáticamente estos instrumentos para obtener información valiosa sobre el progreso de sus estudiantes, contribuyendo a la toma de decisiones educativas y al logro de los aprendizajes esperados.

Este curso explora el enfoque cualitativo de la evaluación del y para el aprendizaje, enfatizando su importancia para evaluar no solo conocimientos, sino también habilidades, actitudes y valores en la educación superior. A través de tres módulos, los participantes analizarán siete instrumentos fundamentales de evaluación cualitativa: la exposición, el examen oral, el ensayo, el estudio de caso, el Examen Clínico Objetivo Estructurado (ECOE), el portafolio y la simulación. Para cada instrumento, se estudian sus características específicas, proceso de diseño y planeación, así como el uso adecuado de los resultados obtenidos. El curso proporciona recursos didácticos prácticos que permiten a los docentes aplicar inmediatamente estos instrumentos en su práctica educativa, particularmente en áreas sociales y de la salud como Biología, Trabajo Social, Psicología, Medicina y Antropología.

Sánchez Mendiola's academic journey includes a research fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, USA, and a Master's degree in Health Professions Education from the University of Illinois at Chicago, USA. Dr. Sánchez Mendiola holds a Doctorate in Sciences, specializing in Health Sciences Education, from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He currently serves as a Definitive Full-Time Professor C at the Postgraduate Studies Division of the Faculty of Medicine, UNAM. In addition to his teaching role, he is the Coordinator of the Coordination of Educational Evaluation, Innovation, and Development (CEIDE) at UNAM, where he contributes to advancing educational methodologies and assessment practices in higher education.

Adrián Martínez González is a distinguished medical professional and academic with extensive experience in public health and medical education. He obtained his Medical Surgeon degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and later earned a Doctorate in Public Health and Preventive Medicine from the Autonomous University of Madrid. Dr. Martínez González currently holds the position of Definitive Full-Time Professor C at the Faculty of Medicine, UNAM, where he also serves as a professor and tutor for Master's and Doctoral programs. His expertise is widely recognized, as evidenced by his membership in the National Academy of Medicine of Mexico (ANM) and his Level II status in the National System of Researchers. In his role as the Director of Educational Evaluation at UNAM, Dr. Martínez González plays a crucial part in shaping and assessing educational practices within the university.
