Juana García is a professor in the School of Management at Universidad de los Andes, where she works in the Strategy area, focusing on Internationalization, Competitiveness, and Emerging Markets. She was part of the team that led the project and report "The Business Environment in Colombia: A Business Perspective" in 2017. She serves on the Academic Committee of the Master's Program in Peace Studies and coordinates several of the University's peace-related projects, such as the research portfolio for peace. She is the University's representative to the Alliance of Universities for Peace and CAPAZ (Colombian-German Institute for Peace). She has studied the role of international cooperation in conflict and peacebuilding in Colombia, conducting comparative studies with various countries. She has also led the work with the ARN (Agency for Reintegration and Normalization) in documenting the private sector's experiences with former combatants.
