Michel Cormier has served as an instructor at LCI Education for 16 years, bringing diverse expertise in video editing, animation, motion graphics, sound design, and video game design. His unique career path began with music studies in high school and CEGEP, where he developed additional skills in graphic design and marketing materials for bands. His passion for video game design was sparked by an encounter with 'Metal Gear Solid' during a recording session, leading him to explore various 3D modeling and animation tools including Poser, Daz 3D, 3DS Max, Zbrush, Maya, and Blender. While his recent focus has been on portfolio design and job market integration, he maintains current knowledge of industry software, techniques, and trends. His multidisciplinary background allows him to help students understand how different creative elements come together in game design and multimedia projects.
