Joan Abou-Haidar serves as an Interior Designer and Instructor at LCI Education in Vancouver, bringing over 15 years of international design experience across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and North America. Her academic credentials include a master's degree in architecture and a DESS in Modern Architecture and Heritage from Université du Québec à Montréal. Her design philosophy centers on human-centric spaces, drawing inspiration from human essence and needs. Since 2021, she has dedicated herself to education at LCI, combining her extensive practical experience with a passion for mentoring future designers. Eric Simard has been involved in various spheres of design for over 25 years: Fashion accessories, set and prop designer for theatre and television, house painting and renovation. Accomplished do-it-all of design, he offers his services as a consultant in interior design and as a Sketchup Pro trainer. Furniture designer and woodworker in his free time, he also teaches Interior Design.

His unique career path began with music studies in high school and CEGEP, where he developed additional skills in graphic design and marketing materials for bands. His passion for video game design was sparked by an encounter with 'Metal Gear Solid' during a recording session, leading him to explore various 3D modeling and animation tools including Poser, Daz 3D, 3DS Max, Zbrush, Maya, and Blender. While his recent focus has been on portfolio design and job market integration, he maintains current knowledge of industry software, techniques, and trends. His multidisciplinary background allows him to help students understand how different creative elements come together in game design and multimedia projects.
