Bethany Cagnol is a professor of scientific communication at Télecom Paris in France, dedicated to supporting professors and researchers in delivering their courses, publishing articles, and presenting at conferences, whether to scientific peers or broader audiences. She designs customized blended-learning programs to execute significant educational projects, both long and short term. With her expertise in communication and public speaking, she has assisted numerous public and private institutions in addressing their communication needs.
Bridging Science and Society: Cécile Michaut’s Mission in Science Communication
Cécile Michaut’s primary objective is to make science accessible to a broad audience. After earning her PhD in chemistry, she shifted her focus to scientific journalism while simultaneously training researchers, engineers, doctoral students, and scientific communication officers to effectively promote their work. Cécile guides them in presenting their research in a clear and engaging manner for non-specialists. In 2005, she founded her company, Science et Partage, in Paris, France, to enhance these training programs. Additionally, she serves as the secretary of the French Association of Science Journalists and authored the book "Vulgarisation scientifique, mode d'emploi" in 2014, published by EDPSciences, which is currently available in French.
