Lambèr Royakkers is an Associate Professor in Ethics and Technology at the Department of School of Innovation Sciences at Eindhoven University of Technology. He holds degrees in mathematics, philosophy, and law and obtained his PhD in 1996 on the logic of legal norms. Over the years, Dr. Royakkers has conducted research and published extensively on topics such as military ethics, robo-ethics, deontic logic, and moral responsibility in research networks. He has authored and co-authored over 10 books, including Ethics, Engineering and Technology (Wiley-Blackwell, 2011), Moral Responsibility and the Problem of Many Hands (Routledge, 2015), and Just Ordinary Robots (CRC Press, 2016).
