Zhang Liang

Zhang Liang is a professor and serves as the deputy director of both the Department of Philosophy and the Center for Marxist Social Theory Research at Nanjing University. He was a senior visiting researcher (Chinese-British scholar) at the University of Sheffield's Department of Politics from September 2009 to August 2010. Additionally, he worked as a senior research scholar at the School of Politics and International Relations at Queen Mary University of London in June and July 2014. His research primarily focuses on foreign Marxist philosophy, the history of contemporary Western leftist thought, and historical materialism, making significant contributions to these fields.
