Università di Napoli Federico IIYves Schemeil serves as Emeritus Professor of Political Science at the University of Grenoble Alpes and Global and Comparative Studies Professor at the Institut Universitaire de France. His research spans four major areas: international organizations management, comparative politics and political thought across Europe, Middle East, and Northeast Asia, political decision-making processes, and epistemology of social sciences. His innovative teaching methods include developing MOOCs, online transcontinental seminars, and flipped classrooms. His academic career includes teaching positions at prestigious institutions worldwide, including UCLA, Berkeley, University of Chicago, and various universities in Japan, Switzerland, Egypt, and Lebanon. As former Vice-President of both IPSA and French PSA and Honorary Director of Sciences Po Grenoble, he has shaped political science education globally. His recent work includes contributions to the SAGE Handbook of Political Science and research on internet governance in political science. His expertise in comparative political thought and international organizations has earned him recognition as a leading voice in building a universal science of politics.
