Professor Yang Rongwu, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree obtained in 1986, a Master of Science in 1993, and a Doctor of Science in 2005, has been a dedicated educator in biochemistry at Nanjing University since September 1993. Currently leading the Biochemistry course group at the School of Life Sciences, he is recognized for his passionate and inspiring bilingual teaching style, which simplifies complex topics through effective visualization and multimedia integration. His innovative approach has earned him the admiration of students and respect from colleagues, leading to accolades such as the Nanjing University Young Teachers "Yingsong" Award and the First Prize in the Nanjing University Teaching Award. The "Biochemistry" course he teaches has been distinguished as a National Excellent Course, and the program he oversees has been designated as both a Jiangsu Provincial and National Bilingual Demonstration Course as well as a National Excellent Resource Sharing Course. Professor Yang has also made significant contributions to textbook publishing, editing multiple editions of "Principles of Biochemistry," which have been recognized as high-quality national textbooks. His work on "Molecular Biology" earned him the first prize in the East China University Press Excellent Textbook Competition. In addition to his teaching, he has led numerous research projects and published a wealth of scientific and educational papers in prestigious journals.
