Yan Lianfu is a professor and Vice Dean at the School of Humanities at Xi'an Jiaotong University, where he serves as a doctoral supervisor. He is responsible for the core general education course "Introduction to Chinese Philosophical Classics" and has played a significant role in promoting philosophical education in China. As an active member of various academic societies, including the National Society of the History of Western Philosophy and the Shaanxi Ethics Society, Yan contributes to the discourse on ethics and philosophy.
