Purdue UniversityXin Jin has established himself as an expert in biosensor technology and IoT applications, currently serving as a Reliability Engineer at Apple since 2020. After graduating with highest distinction in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in 2013, he pursued his Ph.D. under Professor Muhammad Ashraful Alam, focusing on developing multi-scale and multi-physics frameworks for integrated electronics in harsh environments. His doctoral research made significant contributions to the design and analysis of electrochemical and bio-sensors for IoT applications, particularly in areas of non-enzymatic glucose sensors, self-powered enzymatic biofuel cell-based sensors, and ion-selective electrodes. He has authored numerous influential papers on biosensor modeling and design, including work on printable nonenzymatic glucose biosensors and stability analysis of MOSFET-based electronic components for wearable and implantable systems. His expertise spans across sensor design, prototype development, and statistical analysis, with particular emphasis on precision agriculture applications and wearable technology. During his time at Purdue, he also served as a teaching assistant for graduate-level courses in semiconductor devices and electronic nanobiosensors, helping over 1,000 students worldwide understand complex concepts in biosensor technology.
