Witold Henisz

Witold J. Henisz is the Deloitte & Touche Professor of Management at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where he also directs the Wharton Political Risk Lab and founded the Wharton ESG Analytics Lab. His research focuses on the impact of political hazards and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors on corporate strategy and valuation. Henisz's work emphasizes best practices in corporate diplomacy, aiming to enhance relationships with external stakeholders and measure their impact on business outcomes. He is the author of the book Corporate Diplomacy: Building Reputations and Relationships with External Stakeholders.Dr. Henisz has received numerous teaching awards, including being named Iron Prof in 2019 and an Aspen Institute Ideas Worth Teaching Award Winner in 2020. He teaches extensively on corporate diplomacy and ESG integration in various executive education programs. His consultancy, PRIMA LLC, serves a diverse range of clients, including multinational corporations and intergovernmental organizations.
