Distinguished Gender Policy Expert and Political Participation Scholar

Inter-American Development BankVivian Roza served as consultant in the Gender and Diversity Division at the Inter-American Development Bank, bringing over 20 years of expertise in women's leadership and political participation. After earning her PhD in Political Science from Georgetown University, MA in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from New York University, and BA in Political Science and History from the University of Maryland College Park, she has focused on strengthening democratic governance through a gender lens. Her work includes leading the PROLID women's leadership program, managing regional research projects, and developing training programs and impact evaluations for public institutions and NGOs across Latin America and the Caribbean. As an international election observer and published author, she continues to advance understanding of institutional strengthening and social development programs with a gender perspective.
