Victòria Alsina Burgués is an Industry Assistant Professor and Academic Director at the NYU Center for Urban Science and Progress. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and Public Administration from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, an MPA from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, an M.A. in Public Leadership from ESADE Business School, and a Ph.D. in Political and Social Sciences from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Her research focuses on innovative solutions for rethinking public institutions, emphasizing collaborative governance and civic engagement to address pressing societal issues. As a Senior Fellow at The Governance Lab at NYU, she coordinates the CrowdLaw Research Initiative and advises various governments and organizations on public sector reform and democratic innovation. Additionally, she is a Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School's Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government and has previously served as the Head of the Delegation of the Government of Catalonia to the U.S. and Canada. Victòria is also a recipient of the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship.
