Her academic foundation includes Political Science from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and University of Lausanne, a Masters in International Relations from the Diplomatic School of Madrid, and a Master of Fine Arts from New York University, where she also earned her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Her career spans over fifteen years in public sector project management, beginning at Spain's Ministry of Economy managing reimbursable cooperation funds. She later headed governance projects at the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID). Since 2012, she has served as a consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), where she specializes in project planning workshops and leads training in the PM4R (Project Management for Results) methodology. Her expertise is particularly focused on risk management in development projects, and she plays a key role in the IDBx Program, teaching courses on project development and risk management. Her work involves training public executing units and civil society organizations, facilitating project planning workshops for both startup and advanced execution phases, and developing comprehensive project management courses that combine international best practices with practical applications for development projects in Latin America and the Caribbean.
