Dr. Trilokyanath Tripathy serves as Assistant General Manager (Faculty) at State Bank of India, bringing over 34 years of diverse banking experience since joining SBI in 1989. With his unique educational background in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry combined with certification from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, he has developed specialized expertise in agricultural and livestock financing. His career spans leadership roles as Branch Head for 11 years across both corporate credit-intensive and rural agriculture-focused branches. As a certified Behavioral Sciences Trainer with more than 6 years of training experience at SBI's training institutions, he specializes in agricultural allied activities, livestock finance, and investment credit in agricultural finance. His expertise in agricultural finance aligns with SBI's focus on developing sustainable and resilient agricultural finance markets, particularly in addressing the unique challenges of financing smallholder farmers and rural enterprises. Beyond his professional duties, Dr. Tripathy maintains interests in reading and Indian classical music, while continuing to contribute to SBI's training initiatives through his role as faculty member.
