Trevor Thornton

Professor Trevor Thornton is an esteemed faculty member in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University, where he specializes in electrical engineering with a strong focus on advanced manufacturing technologies. With over 150 published journal and conference papers and seven patents to his name, Thornton has made significant contributions to the field, particularly in the development of silicon-on-insulator MESFETs and power management integrated circuits. He is the founder of RF Micropower, a company dedicated to commercializing efficient RF technologies. His extensive experience includes post-doctoral research at prestigious institutions such as the Cavendish Laboratory and Bell Communications Research, as well as faculty positions at Imperial College London. Currently, he directs the Nanotechnology Collaborative Infrastructure Southwest, fostering innovation in nanotechnology research.
