Travis Misner serves as Director of Team Partnerships & Strategy at Playfly Sports while maintaining his role as an instructor at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. After earning his MBA and MS in Sports Administration from Ohio University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from Loras College, he has built an impressive career in sports marketing and partnership development. His professional experience includes serving as Manager of Partnership Development for the Charlotte Hornets and working event operations for five Super Bowls. His expertise spans sports sales, marketing, and partnership strategy, bringing real-world insights to his teaching role. Beyond his primary responsibilities, he maintains active involvement in the sports industry while pursuing his passion for golf. Through his dual roles in industry and academia, he continues to bridge practical experience with educational excellence, preparing the next generation of sports business professionals.
