Toru Terada

Toru Terada is an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences at The University of Tokyo, specializing in landscape planning with a background in urban and regional planning. His current research projects cover a range of topics, including urban agriculture, urban forestry, and the challenges faced by shrinking cities, as well as the development of circular and sustainable urban environments. A passionate advocate for hands-on learning, Dr. Terada actively engages in organic gardening with his students, demonstrating his practical understanding of sustainable practices.
