Delft University of TechnologyTomasz Janowski serves as Head of the Department of Informatics in Management at Gdańsk University of Technology and Invited Professor at Danube University Krems. His academic credentials include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Warwick, MSc in Applied Mathematics from the University of Gdańsk, and Habilitation in Management Sciences. As founder of the United Nations University Operating Unit on Policy-Driven Electronic Governance (UNU-EGOV), he led research activities across 61 countries. He established the International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance (ICEGOV) and serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief of Government Information Quarterly. His research spans digital government, sustainable digital transformation, and development informatics, with projects funded by UNDP, UNESCO, World Bank, and European Commission. His work has influenced policy development in over 50 countries through research, education, and advisory roles. He has authored over 270 publications and continues to shape the field of digital governance through his focus on technology, governance, and sustainable development.
