Tomás Serebrisky is the Principal Economic Advisor for the Infrastructure and Energy Department at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). He has over 20 years of experience in development, focusing on infrastructure, public-private partnerships, regulation, and antitrust. Serebrisky holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Universidad de San Andrés in Argentina. He has worked extensively with the World Bank and served as the Chief Economist for Argentina's Antitrust Commission. Serebrisky is a prolific author and editor, notably co-editing the IDB's flagship report "From Structures to Services: The Path to Better Infrastructure in Latin America and the Caribbean." His expertise includes infrastructure economics, economic regulation, and competition defense.
