Tomás Reyes

Tomás Reyes is an Associate Professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, specializing in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master's in Engineering Sciences with a focus on Computing from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and is an Industrial Civil Engineer from the same institution. Reyes serves as the director of the Master's in Industrial Engineering (MII) and co-director of the Master's in Investments and Applied Finance at UC. He is also the academic director of the Itaú UC Finance Laboratory. His research interests include corporate finance and behavioral economics, focusing on how emotional and psychological factors influence business and investor decisions. Reyes has published numerous academic articles and received several awards for his work, including recognition as an outstanding professor and researcher. Additionally, he is a consultant and director of companies, leveraging his expertise in finance and business strategy.
