Timber Haaker

Timber Haaker serves as a Professor (Lector) at Saxion University of Applied Sciences and Senior Researcher at TU Delft's Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management, where he has established himself as an authority in business model innovation and ICT-driven transformation. His expertise centers on developing practical tools and methods for business model innovation, with a particular focus on ICT-driven innovation in health and digital services. As a work package leader in the ENVISION project, he played a crucial role in developing innovative tools that have reached over 143,000 users across Europe, helping SMEs innovate their business models. His research has contributed significantly to understanding how Internet-of-Things applications can drive business model innovation, and he actively advises both public and private organizations on business model development. At InnoValor, where he serves as a senior advisor, he helps organizations implement digital transformation strategies and develop innovative business models. His work bridges academic research with practical application, particularly through his involvement in the Business Makeover platform, which provides free tools and support for SMEs across Europe engaging in business model innovation.
