Tiffany Decker

Tiffany Decker serves as the Senior Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs at Columbia University's School of General Studies, where she leads graduate and professional school initiatives while developing undergraduate research opportunities. Her career path includes significant work at MIT focusing on increasing STEM access for underrepresented students, earning recognition from Harvard and Google for her innovative research initiatives. Her journey began as a Teach for America English teacher in Paterson, New Jersey, where she was recognized as a District Model Teacher. As a first-generation college student from a military family background, she brings personal insight to her work on expanding educational access. Her academic credentials include a BA in English and History from Agnes Scott College and an MSEd in Higher Education Administration from the University of Pennsylvania. In her current role, she focuses on curriculum development for international dual- and joint-degree programs, working across various academic disciplines to create comprehensive degree plans that enhance educational opportunities
