Teresa Sancho Vinuesa

Teresa Sancho Vinuesa is a renowned professor in the Department of Informatics, Multimedia, and Telecommunications at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). She holds a degree in Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering. Currently, she is the director of the Applied Data Science degree at UOC. Sancho Vinuesa is the principal investigator of the LAIKA research group, focusing on learning analytics and models for assessment and feedback in online mathematics education. Her expertise includes student support, e-learning, and innovation in teaching, particularly in mathematics and statistics. Despite being listed as affiliated with the Tecnológico de Monterrey and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, her primary role is at UOC.
